Hannah Smith Mason’s daily artwork reflects the subjects all around the Gulf Coast South made from various mediums: watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, paper, canvas, found objects, and the endless search for antique frames and ways to present her work in a different way. She thrives on creating for a special event or cause, as well as painting live at weddings and events. Growing up in the oil & gas industry internationally, travel was a way of life and Hannah carries her watercolors almost everywhere she goes. In addition to her artistic practice, she serves on the Lafayette Parish School Board, Business Development and Community Outreach Director for her family company Smith Mason & Co, and is committed to leadership, her community, and creating a cultural legacy. She is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and Lafayette High School, and calls Lafayette and Natchez, MS home with her husband and 3 children.
